Starting with the plan’s funded ratio we present strategies with the end state as the goal. Many variables are reviewed, analyzed, monetized, and presented for consideration. Some of these options include lump sum distributions, annuity buy-in or buy-outs, portfolio immunization through a liability driven investing (LDI) strategy and company contributions.
